Sound absorption is usually defined in terms of the absorption coefficient (usually represented by the Greek letters α) and is defined as the ratio of the absorption to the incident sound energy from a single interaction between the acoustic wave and a certain material.
The absorption coefficient ranges from 0 to 1, and varies with frequency.
NRC = 0 means that the material does not absorb the sound and reflects all the sound energy that occurs.
NRC = 1 means that the material absorbs all the acoustic energy that occurs on it and does not reflect it.
The absorption coefficients of 0 and 1 are ideal values because all the materials reflect and absorb some sounds and therefore do not exist in reality. In general, materials with absorption coefficients less than 0.15 are considered reflective and those with absorption coefficients greater than 0.4 are considered absorptive.
You can see that our test report shows that our fabric decorative sound board has very good performance in a wide range of applications.
1. The fabric acoustic wall panel is made of flame-retardant glass wool with resin frame and acoustical fabric.
2. The fire rating of panel fabric is up to GB8624 2006 C-class (equivalent to GB8624 2012 B1 level) requirements.
3. Our decorative fabric acoustic panel is made of high quality glass fiber, with environmental protection, flame retardant, a wide range of audio absorption and so on.
4. Various colors and finishing options are available to meet all the customer’s acoustic and decorative requirements.
5. We have almost all the necessary export and import documents, such as fire-resistant reports, environmental reports, and sound-absorbing reports.
