Soundproof mat, also known as mass loaded vinyl, is used to reduce airborne sound through walls, floors and ceilings. The acoustic mat usually consists of a massless material sound barrier made of high temperature molten vinyl. The typical weight of these obstacles is 1667kg/m3, as heavy as a stone, but only 3mm or 2mm thick. This improves the sound transmission loss (STC) of building components without losing valuable space. The sound absorbing mat can be used for new and modified sound insulation structures. Standard sound proof mats are non-reinforced barriers for typical structures. Other configurations include, felt mat underlay, hysteresis and wrap materials for pipes and pipes, transparent versions that allow for on-site or light lines, surface mount options, and enhanced versions that can be hung. The acoustic underlay mat materials are often combined with other materials used in sound insulation applications to help provide a complete sound insulation solution.

Mass Loaded soundproof mat is a very difficult task and it is very easy to use Mass Loaded Vinyl. MLV mat underlay is ideal for use as a sound barrier on walls and ceilings. Acoustic mat is a thin but ultra-high density rubber-like material which is also called sound insulation felt. It is flexible and heavy, making it suitable for all waterproof applications. It is non-toxic and is the best alternative to soundproofing materials.

MLV sound proofing floor underlay mat adds a good STC value to any wall or ceiling by adding weight. It is good to stop the frequency from 4000 Hz to 125 Hz. Please note that because MLV is so heavy transport is quite expensive. For larger batch sizes, use a 20GP or 40HQ container.
